Job Title: Assembly Tech

Classification: Hourly/nonexempt

Reports to: Shift Supervisor                                     

 

SUMMARY

The Assembly Tech is responsible for building and assembling parts and components for various customers according to blueprints, customer specs, and work orders.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

  • Operating power tools and hand tools to assemble parts.
  • Able to stand 10-12 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift 35 lbs.
  • Maintain acceptable productivity, attendance, and quality while following processes and procedures.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive, healthy culture.

Job Title: Shift Supervisor

Reports to: Manufacturing Manager

SUMMARY

The Shift Supervisor oversees the manufacturing plant to ensure quality production is produced efficiently. Available to answer technical questions from team members. Implementing and supporting manufacturing changes to improve productivity.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Primary Functions
  • Lead and direct a team of 50-100 employees.
  • Ensure quality products are being made efficiently.
  • Answer technical questions.
  • Support manufacturing changes to help improve productivity.
  • Oversee daily balancing of team members individual productivity.
  • Able to read and understand blueprints.
  • Efficiently read measuring equipment, which includes but isn’t limited to, measuring tapes, caliper, gauges, etc.
  • Ensure new team members are trained properly and encourage cross training.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive, healthy culture.
  • Keep production flowing flawlessly.
  • Administer yearly performance reviews with manufacturing team members.
  • Communicate production/technical changes needed to the engineering team.
  • Able to operate efficiently by a schedule.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Ensure all team members are working in a safe manner and are wearing approved PPE.
  • Available to travel for training if required.

Job Title: Press Brake Setup/Operator

Classification: Hourly/nonexempt
Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor
Schedule: 2nd shift (Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-3am)

 

SUMMARY

The Press Brake Setup/Operator is responsible for setting up and configuring CNC press brake machines, ensuring bending programs and tooling are correctly set up for each job. This role requires technical expertise in press brake operation, tool selection, troubleshooting, and preventative maintenance.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

  • Prepare press brake machines for production by selecting and installing appropriate tooling for dies, and punches.
  • Set up machine parameters, including bend angles, material thickness, and press force according to the job specifications and blueprints.
  • Program machine controls and input data based on blueprints and production requirements.
  • Conduct test runs to verify machine settings and ensure parts meet required tolerances.
  • Monitor machine operation, check for any malfunctions, and adjust settings to ensure optimal performance.
  • Inspect and measure parts to ensure they meet quality standards and blueprint specifications.
  • Use measurement tools to check bend angles, dimensions, and overall part accuracy.
  • Document and report any defects or issues, and work with team members to resolve them promptly.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any machine-related issues quickly to minimize production delays.
  • Communicate with production supervisors to report any delays, material shortages, or technical challenges.
  • Assist with production once machines and operators are set up to run jobs.
  • Able to stand 10-12 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift 15 – 50 lbs. continuously.
  • Maintain acceptable productivity.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive, healthy culture.
  • Able to communicate efficiently.
  • Comfortable following verbal and written directions.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong knowledge of press brake machines and bending operations.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints.
  • Proficient with using measuring tools such as calipers, protractors, micrometers, etc.
  • Minimum 2 years of press brake experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment required.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician                                          

Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Reports to: Maintenance Supervisor      

SUMMARY

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for continual maintenance upkeep of the facility, equipment, and machinery. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for preventative maintenance tasks for all machinery and equipment, proactively perform maintenance repairs on machinery when needed, and being a team player in the maintenance department.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

    • Responsible for maintaining preventative maintenance on machinery/equipment.
    • Perform mechanical skills including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, automation, hydraulic installation, plumbing, trouble shooting, and pair.
    • Troubleshooting machinery issues when needed.
    • Provide feedback and direction to solve maintenance and repair issues.
    • Maintain organization of all maintenance equipment.
    • Ensure we are following all safety, OSHA, and maintenance procedures.
    • Ability to be on call during off shifts in case problems occur, and answers/repairs are needed ASAP.
    • Continually looking to expand technical knowledge, this includes ability to travel for training.
    • Ability to communicate through company email, phone, and calendar in a professional manner.
    • Able to stand 10-12 hours a day.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

SUMMARY

Our Entry Level Manufacturing positions are a great way to dip your toe into the water of the manufacturing world. These positions could consist of many different operations including simple assembly, paint line operations, and unloading material from lasers. These positions require much flexibility and attention to detail.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

  • Simple understanding of how to operate generic hand tools.
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain good productivity while producing products to quality standards.

  • Able to communicate efficiently.
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
