Job Title: Manufacturing Manager                                      

Classification: Salary/Exempt

Reports to: Vice President of Operations                    

SUMMARY

This precision-oriented professional exhibits highly developed leadership qualities and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the production schedule.  The Manufacturing Manager will oversee plans, schedules, employee performance and engagement, and manage all metal manufacturing production processes.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

  • Ensure production schedules are met in all departments (using people, equipment, cross training, and other manufacturing methods).
  • Understand and meet/exceed manufacturing productivity goals.
  • Evaluate resource planning and scheduling based on production load and respond as required.
  • Drive good housekeeping, 5S, and preventive maintenance.
  • Provides operational guidance to solve issues on the shop floor.
  • Assists with planning and directing an efficient layout of equipment and flow of materials.
  • Assists in meeting Quality, Safety and Delivery Goals.
  • Meet accounting/budget goals of our company.
  • Assist with training and developing the production team.
  • Enforces policy for accurately reporting production.
  • Provides work center and machine updates to scheduling department.
  • Supports lean concepts and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing issues.
  • Take advantage of opportunities to help team members thrive personally or professionally (within company policy).
  • Willing to promote and stand by the company’s purpose statement and core values.
  • Available to travel for work as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering/manufacturing or equivalent experience/education combination.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in metal fabrication.
  • Experience dealing with team members of all levels.
  • Experience in manufacturing and production flow essential.
  • Supervisory/management experience required.

Job Title: Quality Technician (Level I)                                                         

Classification: Hourly/Non-Exempt

Reports to: Quality Manager     

Schedule: 1st Shift (Monday – Thursday 6am – 4:30pm)

SUMMARY

The Level I Quality Technician is responsible for ensuring quality production is produced in accordance with customer specifications and company standards. Test and inspect products at different stages during the production process.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

  • Follow quality processes and procedures for inspecting and auditing production.
  • Familiar with all measurement tools used in the quality department.
  • Communicate effectively with production and quality team.
  • Efficiently read and interpret blueprints.
  • Strong ability to correctly perform simple and complex mathematical scenarios.
  • Able and willing to routinely lift and carry up to 50lbs and stand for long periods of time.
  • Improve and maintain housekeeping in quality dept. – 5S Audits.
  • Keep product flowing through quality – nothing sitting around.
  • Assist in sustaining quality goals and objectives.
  • Maintain high accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Willing to promote and stand by the company’s purpose statement and core values.

Job Title: Programmer                                                           

Classification: Salary/Exempt

Reports to: Manufacturing Engineer Manager               

SUMMARY

The CNC Programmer works with computer software’s to develop programs which will cut raw sheets of metal into specific parts. The CNC Programmer may be asked multiple times to adjust programs until the resulting product meets the customer specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

  • Use proper forms and best practices for designing programs.
  • Stay up to date with all new software and software updates.
  • Using time management skills to quickly and correctly program work orders for operators.
  • Responsible for interpreting blueprints.
  • Efficiently communicate with operators when programs are changed or updated.
  • Ensure all programs are documented correctly when changes are made.
  • Understand our manufacturing processes from start to finish.
  • Willing to promote and stand by the company’s purpose statement and core values.

Secondary Functions

  • Participate in special projects when requested.
  • Foster favorable working relationships with project managers and manufacturing personnel.
  • Available to help operators on 2nd or weekend shifts when needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience.
  • Strong background in fabrication and programming.
  • Excellent working knowledge of spreadsheets, SolidWorks, CAD, and manufacturing software.
  • Experience in manufacturing environment required.

Job Title: Entry-Level Manufacturing

Classification: Hourly/nonexempt

Reports to: Manufacturing Supervisor

SUMMARY

Our Entry Level Manufacturing positions are a great way to dip your toe into the water of the manufacturing world. These positions could consist of many different operations including simple assembly, paint line operations, and unloading material from lasers. These positions require much flexibility and attention to detail.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Primary Functions

  • Simple understanding of how to operate generic hand tools.
  • Ability to stand up to 10 hours a day.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Maintain good productivity while producing products to quality standards.
  • Promote teamwork and a positive, healthy culture.
  • Able to communicate efficiently.
  • Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance.
  • Other duties as assigned.
