Robotic Welding
We at Sargent Metal are excited with our expansions in our Robotic Welding area.
We now operate 4 Robotic Welders that allow us to:
- Improve Productivity with increased “green light on time”. This is achieved by two welders with turntables that allow the operator to load one side while the other side is welding. Our two additional welders are dual side headstock tailstock systems that can rotate parts 360 degrees, which allows us to weld the entire part with no handling.
- Improved Quality with better repeatability per part.
- Robust Fixturing that decreases setup time from job to job.
- All of our Welders are AWS certified.
Certified Welding
Sargent Metal provides total shop capability in the welding area.
Services include:
- Genesis Versa 2G Robotic Welder – 6 Axis
- (2) OTC Robotic Welders – one with 72-inch table and one with 60-inch table
- (4) Resistance Welders
- Large assortment of TIG and MIG welders
- Full service welding capabilities
About Us
Sargent Metal has undertaken a major initiative that will enable us to reach our aggressive goals. We moved into our 79,000 square foot manufacturing facility in June of 2003. Our 21 acre campus is located in Anderson, SC.
