Throughout its 36-year history, Sargent Metal has consistently utilized state-of-the-art equipment to provide customers top-quality products in a timely manner. Once you examine the following equipment list, we’re sure you will agree that standard is still in force.

STOPA Retrieval and Storage System

Our STOPA system is a fully-automated retrieval and storage system for both raw material and finished goods. The system has 130 shelves (pallets); each shelf has a capacity of 6,600 pounds of material or finished goods. The system, currently connected to three lasers and one punching machine, can be upgraded and expanded.

CNC Laser Cutting

Sargent Metal has two 5,000-watt Trumpf 5-foot by 10-foot Lasers and one 4,000-watt Trumpf 5-foot by 10-foot Laser connected to the STOPA Storage and Retrieval System.

CNC Punching

Trumpf TruPunch 5000 FMS is a fully-automated hydraulic 25-ton punching machine. It has a 5-foot X 10-foot table without repositioning. It can auto index every tool and hold multiple tools; it has a Sheetmaster FMS that loads raw material and unloads completed parts. A Trumasort parts removal system separates parts into individual storage bins (up to four bins). The Trumpf TruPunch 5000 FMS is capable of forming operations as well as high-speed tapping and marking.

Trumpf TC 2020 FMS is a fully automated hydraulic 20 ton punching machine. It has a 50-inch by 100-inch table without repositioning, it can auto index every tool and hold multiple tools. It also has a FMS which loads raw material and unloads completed parts.

Trumpf TC 500 FMS is a fully automated hydraulic 25 ton punching machine. It has a 5-foot by 10-foot table without repositioning, it can auto index every tool and hold multiple tools, it has a Sheetmaster FMS which loads raw material and unloads completed parts. It also has Trumasort parts removal system which will separate parts into individual storage bins (up to 4 bins).

Amada Vipros 368 FMS is a fully automated hydraulic 33 ton punching machine which has a 58 station turret with 4 auto indexes-(2)-1 1⁄4-inches, (2)-4 1⁄2-inches. It has a 60-inches by 80-inches punching area without repositioning. This machine tool is connected to a MP 1530 Load/Unload System.

Amada Vipros 255 a 22 ton hydraulic punching machine with a 31 station turret. It has 3 auto indexes-(2)-1 1⁄4-inches, (1)-2-inches. It also has a 50-inch x 50-inch punching area without repositioning and 50-inch x 100-inch with 1 reposition.

CNC FORMING

(1) Trumpf TruBend 5130 Bend Master Robotic Press Brake – 10-foot, 132 US Tons, 8 axis press brake. Hydraulic clamping, quick change tooling, fully automated with offline programming.

(1) Trumpf V1300 – 10-foot, 144 US Tons, 8 axis press brake. Hydraulic clamping, quick change tooling with offline programming.

(1) Trumpf V130X – 10-foot, 144 US Tons, 8 axis press brake. Hydraulic clamping, quick change tooling with offline programming.

(1) Trumpf C 60 – 6-foot, 67 US Tons, 7 axis CNC press brake with offline programming.

(1) Amada 8025 FBD III – 8-foot, 80 Metric Ton with 8 axis CNC press brake.

(1) Amada HFB 1003 – 10-foot, 100 Metric Ton, 8 axis CNC press brake with graphics control.

Sargent Metal Campus

Our current 80,000 square foot facility was built in 2003 on our 21 acre campus with plans to expand as needed. Additional warehouse with 33,000 square feet is located approximately 2 miles away from our current facility.
